\non a hard cold floor) what prison

\nhave to give it back, if they
\ntake it from me, let me only
\nnot feel I wasted any, let me
\nnot feel I forgot to love anyone
\nI meant to love, that I forgot
\nto give what I held in my hands,
\nthat I forgot to do some little
\npiece of the work that wanted
\nto come through.<\/p>\n
\nthe muted grey light off the waters of the bay at night, the white
\nlight of the fog stealing in,
\nthe first spears of the morning
\ntouching a face
\nI love. We all lose
\neverything. We lose
\nourselves. We are lost.<\/p>\n
\nlasts, what love sculps from us;
\nbut what I count, my rubies, my
\nchildren, are those moments
\nwide open when I know clearly
\nwho I am, who you are, what we
\ndo, a marigold, an oakleaf, a meteor,
\nwith all my senses hungry and filled
