Today I took C shoe shopping. We discovered two important things:
1) We can no longer shop in the kids’ dept for C’s clothes. He’s a MAN now.
2) Not only can he wear his new running shoes, but I can, too (though they are a bit tight on me).

This growing up stuff is happening pretty fast!

We put up the tree this week. I was really sick, so I sat in the chair and gave the kids directions on how to set everything up. As you can see, they did a really good job.

Tihs picture is of the Suzhou garden plaza at Tiger Hill. Supposedly 1,000 workers were murdered here after they buried the King He Lu in 496 B.C.E. His son murdered them to prevent them from revealing the exact gravesite.
An eerily beautiful place.
