As a few of you may have heard, I’ve had a nasty 24 hour stomach flu for the past 24 hours. I’m just now starting to eat w/o nausea and I’m craving the oddest things: sunchips, chocolate frozen yogurt and sour candy straws. Weird, eh?

Ten years ago or so I saw an installation of this book tunnel at the Chicago museum of modern art. It was profoundly cool! Thanks for posting the photo.
I was just looking down the book tunnel picture and I found myself hypotized. I suspect that I could live in such a place. And be v. happy.

I thought about the same, but then I started wondering about the stacks that I create: the stack of books I’m currently reading, the stack for a current project, the thematic stack, etc. Each stack would represent a bunch of drafty holes in the newly unstable house of books…
